The Sabres East play 4-ball better ball in teams of 4 pairs, in a League basis, home and away in the east of the county. The minimum handicap index is 5.5. Traditionally, there have been 6 teams competing in a single league, with the winners being awarded the Sabres League Trophy. The top 4 teams in the league then qualify for an additional knockout competition. The Sabres are based in the east of the county and currently consist of Enfield, Mill Hill, Hendon, North Middlesex, Finchley and Muswell Hill.
